Hi I'm the founder of Babes in the Woods! I'm passionate about spending time outdoors and years of teaching buschcraft & survival-skills have inspired this business. I've also worked as a mediator and psychotherapist and know that quality time with girlfriends, and celebrating in style is food for the soul!
Setting up camp outdoors is one of my favourite things to do: I love cooking on fires, sleeping under the stars and waking up to birdsong and dappled sunlight through the trees. Outside of the woods I'm a massage therapist and a yoga teacher with a particular interest in finding ways of coming into relationship with our wilder nature.
Hetti's co-pilot since the birth of Babes, I'm totally inspired by our natural world and hold a deep connectiveness with all of its' inhabitants. Much to my delight, Babes enables me to share this with others in a very fun and heartfelt way. Outside of the wild woods I'm a Forest School Facilitator and therapist.
As a Babes Host I know what a magical space the woods provide for people to connect. Women who come here are soon sitting around the campfire sharing stories and playing games. My dream is for everyone to have their own powerful relationship with nature. I enjoy dancing, swimming in the sea and sitting round a campfire with close friends.
I'm passionate about combining science, art and intuition, and drawing upon rich indigenous knowledge to create sustainable life choices. I have founded 'The Field of our Dreams' a project where people may learn about and benefit from our environment exploring natural homes to humble soil! I work part time for Babes which I love. I love working with women in the woods to share my love of nature! I am passionate about 're-wilding' and re-skilling humans, reconnecting to how our ancestors lived in harmony with nature and re-learning ancient survival techniques. Outside of Babes I work with trees, as an arboriculturist (tree surgeon!) and on an organic market garden. http://www.soil-carbon-regeneration.co.uk/
